LG Uplus to buy back 90 billion won worth of treasury shares…invest an additional 1.3 trillion won in Paju AI data center

LG Uplus approved a 90 billion won buyback of its own shares, with plans to use them for cancellation and other steps to boost shareholder value.

The company will also invest an additional 1.3 trillion won to build phase 2 of its Paju AI data center.

LG Uplus said it is expanding interim dividends and highlighted its past record of treasury share cancellations.

The moves signal a dual strategy of stronger shareholder returns and larger AI infrastructure investment.
