SanDisk's new 2TB SD card costs $2,000, and it's not even the fastest option

SanDisk has released an Extreme Pro UHS-II V90 full-size SD card, with capacities up to 2TB.

The 2TB model costs $2,000; the article lists an MSRP of $2,500.

The 128GB version starts at $240, down from an earlier $300 listing.

The card uses a UHS-II interface with about 300 MB/s bidirectional speeds; V90 means a 90 MB/s sustained write minimum.

SanDisk's 2TB microSDXC was once about $200, then around $400; microSD Express is faster, with up to 800 MB/s read and 650 MB/s write.
