Huawei announced it has connected 170 million people in remote areas across more than 80 countries.

The company said this exceeds its ITU P2C pledge to connect 120 million people by 2025.

Huawei highlighted its Skills on Wheels program and the RuralCow solution as contributors to the achievement.
