DDR5 Memory Continues To Sell At A Whopping 400%+ Premium In Germany As The Market Sees No Relief

DDR5 memory retail prices in Germany rose again in May, averaging about 4% higher month over month after a 2% increase in April.

32 GB kits led the gains, including a 9% jump for a DDR5-6400 kit, while some other kits saw price drops.

The trend makes gaming PC builds and upgrades more expensive and signals continued pressure in the DRAM market despite some short-term stabilization.

Overall DDR5 costs in Germany remain more than four times higher than a year ago, according to 3D Center.
