League of Legends booster puts out post offering "10k per month." Riot absolutely cooks them

Riot Games moved against a League of Legends booster who advertised Challenger-level rank boosting in North America and claimed it could make $10,000 or more a month.

Product director Drew Levin said everyone involved would be banned, and later hinted Riot could identify the booster’s main account.

The public exchange put the account, and possibly linked accounts, directly on Riot’s radar.

The crackdown matters because paid boosting violates Riot’s rules and can undermine competitive integrity during ranked reset volatility.
