Modder Rescues a Broken CRT From E-Waste and Turns It Into a 1440p Ryzen Rig With an RX 6900 XT Inside

A Reddit modder turned a broken 17-inch CRT monitor shell from e-waste into a functional gaming PC.

The build swaps in a 17.3-inch laptop panel and packs in standard desktop parts, including a Ryzen 5 7600X and Radeon RX 6900 XT.

It also fits an MSI B650 Gaming Plus board and seven case fans inside the old CRT chassis.
