XPeng IRON Humanoid Robot Enters Mass Production Sprint, Set to Hit Showrooms in 2027

XPeng says its humanoid robot IRON has entered a mass-production sprint.

The company aims to start mass production by the end of 2026 and deploy IRON in its own retail stores in early 2027.

XPeng will use its outlets for controlled commercial use cases like store guidance, sales support, and inspections, while collecting operating data.

IRON uses multiple AI chips, XPeng’s vehicle vision system, and 4D millimeter-wave radar, and production units should closely resemble the prototype.
