NVIDIA Passes Another $300 Hit to RTX 5090 Board Partners as VRAM Shortage Pushes Flagship GPU Toward $5,000

NVIDIA is reportedly planning another $300 price increase for the RTX 5090 and China-only RTX 5090 D V2.

The hike is being blamed on rising VRAM and GDDR7 memory procurement costs amid ongoing shortages.

Board partners are expected to pass the higher costs on to consumers.

If the report proves true, RTX 5090 pricing could climb toward $4,500 to $5,000 and pressure other RTX 50-series cards.
