Apple says latest conflict minerals review found no basis to link suppliers to armed groups

Apple filed its annual conflict minerals report with the SEC for 2025, covering products such as iPhone, Mac, iPad, AirPods, Apple Watch, and Apple Vision Pro.

The company said its review found no reasonable basis to conclude that identified smelters or refiners of tin, tantalum, tungsten, or gold financed or benefited armed groups in the covered region.

Apple said it requires supplier reporting and third-party audits for 3TG materials, but it cannot always trace minerals back to mine sites.

The filing is part of Apple’s ongoing due diligence on responsible minerals sourcing and human rights compliance in its supply chain.
