This small Teamfight Tactics Set 17 change is a game-changer for loss streak traits

Riot Games changed Teamfight Tactics surrender so it no longer instantly ends combat or deletes the army.

Lead designer Stephen 'Mortdog' Mortimer announced the change on X as Set 17 (Space Gods) arrived on PBE.

After a surrender, the round will play out to its conclusion, letting units and effects still resolve.

The tweak aims to reduce damage from mid-round forfeits, though players may try alternate griefing tactics.
