Amazon’s new Fire TV Stick can be powered by TV USB port, may still support sideloading

Amazon has launched a $35 Fire TV Stick HD.

It supports 1080p streaming, uses USB-C, and is designed to draw power from a TV’s USB port.

That could make setup easier by eliminating the need for a separate power adapter.

Early signs suggest it may still run Fire OS, with sideloading possibly remaining available on some devices.
