Sony fully revises PlayStation strategy… major single-player titles not coming to PC

Sony is shifting strategy: future major first-party single-player PlayStation games may no longer launch on PC.

The company will keep those flagship titles console-exclusive to protect the PlayStation hardware ecosystem.

Live-service multiplayer games are still expected to release on PC at the same time as on PlayStation.

The move could strengthen Sony’s platform lock-in and influence broader competition with Microsoft and Xbox.
