Searching for 'Disregard' Breaks Google [Updated]

Google Search’s AI Overviews are misreading action words like “disregard,” “ignore,” “stop,” and “remember” as instructions instead of search terms.

The bug produces odd, broken-looking results and can block part of the page, exposing limits in Google’s AI rollout after its I/O announcements.

Google says the issue is specific to AI Overviews and is being fixed.
