Datalab Marker v2 vs MinerU, Docling, and Liteparse: Benchmark Breakdown

Datalab released Marker 2, a rebuilt open source document conversion system with new balanced, fast, and CPU-only paths.

On Ai2’s olmOCR-bench, Marker 2’s balanced mode scored 76.0% overall and 83.5% on born-digital PDFs.

It also sustained 2.9 pages per second on a single B200 GPU, showing a strong speed-quality tradeoff.

In the reported comparison, Marker 2 outperformed MinerU and Docling, with LiteParse also part of the benchmark context.
