TikTok tests short-drama feed, plans original shows

TikTok is testing a dedicated short-drama feed in the U.S. and other markets.

The company has also started casting for an original soap-style project.

TikTok previously filed a U.S. trademark for “TikTok Drama” to support short-drama development and production.

The move shows TikTok pushing deeper into original entertainment as the mini-drama market expands.
