SpaceX Falcon Heavy To Launch First Mission In 18 Months After Delay

SpaceX is set to launch Falcon Heavy from Kennedy Space Center on Wednesday after weather delayed the mission.

The rocket will carry a ViaSat broadband satellite toward geosynchronous transfer orbit.

SpaceX plans to recover the two side boosters, while the center core will be expended.

The launch is a rare Falcon Heavy flight and a notable test of SpaceX’s heavy-lift lineup before Starship takes on more of that role.
