TikTok collaborates with the National Election Commission ahead of local elections… links users to official information in the election center

TikTok Korea will partner with South Korea’s National Election Commission ahead of the June 3 local elections to boost electoral integrity.

The company plans a dedicated cooperation channel, an in-app election center, and stronger moderation and fact-checking.

TikTok will also label AI-generated content to help limit misleading election-related videos.

The effort is meant to direct users to official details on candidates, voting procedures, and polling places.
