Netflix must refund customers for years of price hikes, Italian court rules

An Italian court ordered Netflix to refund unlawful price increases for affected subscribers.

Movimento Consumatori said Netflix must reduce current subscription prices and may file a class action if refunds are not issued.

Netflix said it is appealing the ruling and maintains its terms comply with Italian law.

The ruling exempts price changes after April 2025 under Italian law and included example adjusted prices for premium and standard plans.
