‘This is fine’ creator says AI startup stole his art

KC Green accused AI startup Artisan of using imagery from his “This is fine” comic in a subway ad campaign without permission.

Green called the artwork stolen, urged people to vandalize the ad, and said he may seek legal help.

Artisan said it is reaching out to Green directly.

The dispute adds to broader tensions between AI companies and artists over unauthorized use of copyrighted or recognizable work.
