AMD announces AI data center products including server CPU "EPYC 9006" and AI rack server "Helios"

At Advancing AI 2026, AMD unveiled its 6th-gen EPYC 9006 server CPU and the Helios AI rack system, expanding its AI data-center lineup.

The company also introduced the Ryzen AI Embedded X100 series and Kria development boards, extending its reach into edge and embedded AI.

AMD said it is working with Cerebras on a ultra-low-latency AI system scheduled to ship in the second half of 2026.

The launches sharpen AMD’s push to compete more directly with NVIDIA across AI training and inference infrastructure.
