World’s first solid-state battery-powered electric motorcycle production begins

Verge Motorcycles has begun production of the TS Pro, the first motorcycle using an all-solid-state battery, at its Estonia factory.

The TS Pro is available in two battery sizes: 20.2 kWh (standard) and 33 kWh (long-range), with ranges of about 217 and 373 miles respectively.

Donut Lab’s solid-state cells reportedly resist thermal runaway after structural damage and supported ultra-fast charging, reaching 10–50% in about 5 minutes on tests.
