Creators can generate an AI version of themselves to use in YouTube Shorts.

To use AI avatars creators must be over 18 and have a YouTube channel.

The avatar is created via a secure live selfie capture that records face and voice.

Once created the avatar can be reused and can generate video scenes from prompts.

Creators can add the avatar to existing Shorts; the feature is available directly on YouTube.
