Intel details long-awaited Crescent Island AI GPU at Computex, boasts up to 480 GB of LPDDR5X to combat memory shortages — company shares more details of its Xe3P inference accelerator at Computex

Intel revealed more details on Crescent Island, its next-gen data center AI GPU based on the Xe3P architecture.

The PCIe add-in card is built for AI inference and uses LPDDR5X instead of GDDR or HBM.

Intel says partner designs could reach up to 480GB of memory, while its reference card is 160GB.

The air-cooled 350W GPU is planned for the second half of 2026 and will support Intel’s oneAPI software stack.
