Microsoft is finally ditching the junk MSN feed in Windows widgets

Microsoft is changing Windows 11 Widgets to be less distracting by default.

The MSN news feed will no longer appear first, and hover-opening will be turned off.

Some taskbar badges and alerts will also be reduced, cutting down on interruptions.

The goal is to make Widgets more useful and less annoying for Windows 11 users.
