Valve announces new Steam Controller pre-order dates and rules

Valve will reopen Steam Controller reservations on May 8 at 10 a.m. PDT.

Orders will be handled through a queue, with one unit per customer and a valid Steam purchase history required.

The rollout will be staggered by region after the initial stock sold out.

The new rules are meant to curb scalping and give Valve tighter control over demand for its hardware launch.
