Subnautica 2 – How to eat

Subnautica 2’s early survival loop centers on food and water management.

Players must interact with the Angel Comb to unlock an alien-diet mutation before they can safely digest alien life.

Once mutated, they can catch fish by hand, cook them at the lifeboat fabricator, and turn water slugs into bottled water.

Building a base expands the available recipes and deepens the survival progression.
