Microsoft introduced Cloud-Initiated Driver Recovery to remotely roll back faulty Windows Update drivers.

The feature lets Microsoft revert a problematic driver to a known-good version using existing Windows Update infrastructure.

Recovery is initiated through Hardware Dev Center and is being validated before broader support starts in September.

The goal is to reduce disruption from bad drivers and avoid requiring user or OEM intervention.
