Official release of "Swift SDK for Android," which lets you build Android apps with Swift. Swift 6.3 released

Apple has released Swift 6.3, officially adding the Swift SDK for Android.

Developers can now build Android apps in Swift alongside Java or Kotlin using Swift Java and Swift Java JNI Core.

The release also improves Embedded Swift, C interoperability, and build tooling.

The update extends Swift beyond Apple platforms and strengthens its cross-platform appeal.
