Lime moves beyond kick scooters with new electric-assist bicycle “LimeBike”

Lime has begun rolling out its electric-assist bike, LimeBike, in Japan and is also offering the monthly subscription service LimePrime.

The company is expanding deployment in the Tokyo metropolitan area through shared ports with HELLO CYCLING and multi-use ports run by Mitsui Fudosan Realty.

The move broadens Lime’s Japan offering beyond e-scooters, aiming to improve convenience and safety in urban mobility.
