AI defense tech company Anduril raises $5 billion, accelerating military modernization under the Trump administration

Anduril raised $5 billion in a Series H led by Thrive Capital and Andreessen Horowitz, valuing the company at $61 billion.

The company also disclosed a framework deal to mass-produce at least 3,000 Barracuda-500M cruise missiles for the U.S. Defense Department over three years.

The funding gives Anduril more capital to scale AI-enabled weapons and manufacturing as demand for defense tech rises.

The move highlights accelerating U.S. military modernization and the growing role of autonomous systems in defense.
