Mistral launched remote coding agents in Vibe and a new Work mode in Le Chat, moving agentic coding from local laptops to the cloud.

The new features can be started from the CLI or chat, and let users hand off ongoing local sessions to remote execution.

Both experiences are powered by Mistral Medium 3.5, a public-preview 128B open-weights model with a 256k context window and configurable reasoning effort.

Medium 3.5 is now the default model in Le Chat and Vibe CLI, broadening access to web-based, unattended software work.
