Over a year later, AMD is bringing improved FSR 4 upscaling to its older GPUs

AMD will expand FSR 4 beyond Radeon RX 9000 cards, starting support for RDNA3 and RDNA3.5 GPUs and some integrated graphics in July.

The company also plans to bring FSR 4 to RDNA2 devices in early 2027 after adapting it from FP8 to INT8 hardware.

The update should improve image upscaling and visual quality on many older PCs, laptops, handhelds, and consoles.
