I couldn't sign into the PlayStation App on Android, but I found an easy way to get around Sony's finicky 2FA

An Android guide reports that some PlayStation app users can’t log in because Sony’s 2FA text message never arrives.

The workaround is to use the app’s account recovery flow and request a password reset link.

After that, users can create a passkey, which bypasses the broken SMS-based 2FA step.

This gives PSN users a faster way back into their accounts when backup codes aren’t available.
