iPadOS 26.5 has a convenient upgrade when using Magic Keyboard, more

Apple’s iOS and iPadOS 26.5 now automatically Bluetooth-pair Magic Keyboard, Magic Trackpad, and Magic Mouse after a USB-C connection.

That means the accessory stays linked to the iPhone or iPad even after the cable is unplugged.

The change should make Apple’s Magic accessories easier to set up and use on iPad, especially for USB-C setups.

One possible downside: moving the accessory back to a Mac may be less seamless.
