Casely Is Recalling Wireless Power Pods Over Fire and Burn Risks, Again

Casely is recalling its 5,000-mAh MagSafe Power Pods, model E33A, again over fire and burn risks.

The company says 28 additional overheating and fire incidents were reported after an earlier recall, bringing the total affected units to as many as 429,200.

The chargers were sold from March 2022 through September 2024, and owners should stop using them immediately.

Consumers can request a free replacement, as regulators warn the lithium-ion batteries pose a serious safety hazard.
