Windows 11 tests an adjustable taskbar and resizable Start menu

Microsoft is testing an experimental Windows 11 build for Insiders with more desktop customization.

The update adds movable taskbar placement, shorter taskbar sizing, and Start menu size options.

It also includes toggles for Start menu sections and new privacy controls for menu content.

The changes address long-standing complaints about limited Windows 11 customization.
