CIA deployed secret "Ghost Murmur" AI to track down missing airman in Iran

The CIA reportedly used a secret AI tool, Ghost Murmur, to help locate a missing US airman after his F-15E was shot down over Iran.

The system is said to be designed to detect heartbeats at long range and was developed by Lockheed Martin’s Skunk Works unit.

A second crew member from the aircraft was rescued more than a day later.

If accurate, the tool would mark a major new US capability for finding stranded personnel in hostile terrain.
