Paralives launched in early access with strong momentum, selling 250,000 copies in just eight hours and earning an 89% positive Steam rating.

The Canadian indie life sim is drawing attention as a potential alternative to The Sims, The Sims 4, and InZOI.

Soon after launch, players reported major bugs and glitches, including teleporting characters, stuck avatars, skinless visuals, and strange baby-related issues.

The developers said fixes and quality-of-life updates will roll out over the next few months, with free updates planned instead of DLC.
