Amazon stuck with months of repairs after drone strikes on data centers

Amazon says repairs to AWS data centers in the UAE and Bahrain damaged by drone strikes will take several more months.

The affected Middle East cloud regions, including ME-CENTRAL-1 and ME-SOUTH-1, cannot fully support applications right now.

Billing in the impacted regions remains suspended, and customers are being pushed to migrate workloads or rely on backups.
