Switch 2 Has Sold Just Shy of 20 Million Units, Nintendo Lowers FY27 Forecast

Nintendo said Switch 2 sales reached 19.86 million units, topping its revised forecast.

Despite the strong launch, it cut its FY2027 hardware target to 16.5 million units.

The company said launch-year demand was unusually concentrated and expects price increases to affect future sales.

Nintendo also reported higher annual sales and operating profit, and plans to keep supporting Switch 2 with new first-party games.
