Movistar's new WiFi 7 router compared with the previous WiFi 6 model: a leap that pays off in almost everything

Movistar has started offering its new Smart WiFi 7 router to fiber customers.

Compared with the Smart WiFi 6, it adds a 10 Gbps-capable port, XGS-PON support, and better speed, latency, and network capacity.

The new model keeps a focus on stronger home networking, especially in households with many connected devices.

It does not use the 6 GHz band, so the real benefit depends on whether compatible devices can take advantage of WiFi 7 features.
