Deezer says 44% of new music uploads are AI-generated, most streams are fraudulent

Deezer says 44% of newly uploaded music is AI-generated.

But AI-flagged tracks are kept out of recommendations and playlists, so they account for only about 1–3% of listening.

The company says much of the activity is fraudulent, and about 85% of AI music streams are demonetized.

The data shows how fast AI music is flooding streaming platforms and how services are tightening controls to curb fraud and revenue dilution.
