16 years in the making: Spotify finally lets you create and manage folders on mobile

Spotify is rolling out playlist folders to its mobile apps on Android and iOS.

Users can now create folders, move playlists into them, and play everything inside a folder from their phone.

The feature arrives via a server-side rollout, removing a long-standing desktop-only limitation.

The update should make playlist management much easier for users with large Spotify libraries.
