US: First-of-a-kind 100 MW sodium-cooled small modular reactor deployment gets a boost

ARC Clean Technology is partnering with Battelle Energy Alliance and Idaho National Laboratory to support the first U.S. deployment of the ARC-100 sodium-cooled small modular reactor.

The agreement gives the project access to lab expertise and facilities for engineering, testing, safety analysis, licensing support, and site development.

Each task will still require U.S. Department of Energy approval, helping reduce technical and regulatory risk for a first-of-a-kind reactor.

If successful, the project could showcase a low-carbon power option for data centers, AI-driven demand, and future export markets.
