Nvidia could bring back the RTX 3060 12GB in July as memory crisis continues

Nvidia may resume RTX 3060 12GB production in June for a possible July retail return, according to reports.

Board partners including Asus, MSI, Colorful, and Galax are said to be getting early allocations.

The card was discontinued in 2024, but its older Samsung-built design and 12GB VRAM could make it attractive in a tight memory market.

A revival would give Nvidia a practical lower-end option without leaning as heavily on scarce TSMC wafer capacity.
