Google's Tensor G6 rumors nearly had me hyped, but it might let me down

A leak claims Google’s Tensor G6 will use a 1+4+2 CPU setup with higher clock speeds and possibly a 2nm process.

The rumored chip could bring better CPU performance to the Pixel 11 series, but graphics gains may be limited.

It may still use an older PowerVR GPU, with little improvement over Tensor G5 for gaming and graphics.

That means the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, and Pixel 11 Pro XL could still lag rival Android flagships in performance-heavy tasks.
