Path of Exile 3.29 just shattered a fundamental rule, and I'm not talking about its new underwater combat

Grinding Gear Games has revealed Path of Exile 3.29, Curse of the Allflame.

The league adds an underwater theme with lantern-driven exploration and chart-based voyages.

It also brings new currencies and crafting, the return of Mercenaries, and a new Scion Ascendancy.

The biggest change is a major socket overhaul: sockets will no longer have colors.
