iOS 27, Apple Wallet redesign likely to add split-bill feature

Apple is reportedly adding an iOS 27 Wallet feature that can split expenses from receipt photos and generate settlement requests automatically.

The feature is expected to work with Apple Cash and be available in Wallet, Messages, and on Apple Watch.

Apple is also preparing a way to scan physical passes, such as gym memberships, and save them directly in Wallet.

If released, the update could make payments, transfers, and pass management much easier on the iPhone.
