A Windows 11 speed boost is coming as soon as next month, along with a taskbar you can finally move

Microsoft is testing Windows 11 preview builds with a new Low Latency Profile designed to improve responsiveness and overall performance.

The builds also bring more taskbar customization, including options users have long wanted such as moving the taskbar.

These changes aim to address two common complaints about Windows 11: sluggishness on some PCs and limited flexibility.

If Insider testing goes well, Microsoft could widen the rollout in a future update, potentially as early as June 2026.
