Anthropic’s Claude can now control your Mac, escalating the fight to build AI agents that actually do work

Anthropic launched Mac control for Claude, anthropic launched Mac control capability for Claude as a research preview for paying subscribers.

Claude was added to Claude Cowork and Claude Code feature is included in Claude Cowork and Claude Code products.

Dispatch was extended into Claude Code, dispatch feature was extended into Claude Code and previously launched for Cowork.

Subscription plans require Claude Pro or Max subscription, mac control features are available to Claude Pro and Max subscribers.

Mac support is available only on macOS for now availability is limited to macOS at launch.
